About Us
Jack here,
This is the story of RIDN.
I picked up a camera when I was 15 years old.
At the time, I wasn't looking for a hobby. I was looking for somewhere to hide.
My parents were going through a divorce and home felt different. Photography became the one place where everything started to make sense. When I looked through a viewfinder, all I had to think about was the moment in front of me.
What started as an escape slowly became an obsession.
Over time, photography became part of who I was.
Living with dyslexia has meant I've often approached the world differently. While words didn't always come easily, images did. Creativity became my way of understanding things, expressing myself and connecting with people.
As I got older, I became obsessed with another idea.
Building something of my own.
I watched my dad's work ethic and knew I wanted to create my own path.
That's where RIDN began.
Not as a clothing brand.
Not as a business plan.
But as a way to share the photographs, memories and experiences that shaped me.
What nobody tells you is that turning passion into a business isn't romantic.
It's early mornings. Long drives. Cancelled plans. Learning websites, marketing, editing, budgets, networking and all the things nobody sees behind the photos.
But despite all of that, I still get the same feeling I had when I was 15.
The feeling of stopping for a moment and seeing something beautiful.
Every youtube video shoot includes a photoshoot and its from those photos that the designs you see come from
Your support isn't just helping me sell clothing.
It's helping me continue a journey that started with a kid holding a camera and trying to make sense of the world.
Welcome to RIDN.
